Our Philosophy
We are a blend of believers from various Christian backgrounds. Officially, we are Congregationalists, Disciples of Christ, and United Church of Christ followers. We are quite sure there are other denominations in our fold, and we welcome them with open arms.
We believe that each person is a unique and valuable creation, and is deserving of respect and love. We affirm the importance of personal spiritual exploration, and we recognize that each journey of faith is unique. We encourage questioning, doubting, and seeking as integral parts of spiritual growth.
We follow the teachings of Jesus, which emphasize love, compassion, humility, forgiveness, justice, and equality. We promote social justice, bridging divides, and we hope to inspire a commitment to the well-being of all.
We aim to live the way that Jesus meant us to live.
Galatians 3:28
There is no longer Jew or Greek; there is no longer slave or free; there is no longer male and female, for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.
Our Fellowship
Our congregation holds services on Sundays at 10am.
Whether it’s through laughter over a shared meal (which happens regularly), the solemnity of shared worship, the objective study of scripture, or the joy of a communal service, we hope to nurture both individual growth and collective harmony.
Whether you’re searching for a spiritual home, looking for support and fellowship, or seeking a place of quiet reflection, you’ll find an open door here. Our church is a mosaic of diverse faces, stories, and backgrounds, united in faith and love. We gather to worship, to grow in our understanding and expression of faith, and to extend the hands of service to those in need. We believe every person is a beloved child of God and has a place at our table. So come as you are, with your hopes, your dreams, and even your doubts. There is a place for you here, and we look forward to walking this journey of faith together.
